In Their Own Words

"Even more important than knowing the technical side of engineering is learning to develop your ear. My teaching emphasizes critical listening to help students develop trust in their ears while working."

"I try to create a real-world environment in class with real-world examples that I and other engineers experience. I like to challenge the students to think outside the box. One of the great advantages of being at Berklee is all the connections you are able to make. You meet people from all over the world and from many different backgrounds, all studying different things all related to music. Music is the common language."
