Mastering Suite

The mastering suite offers students an experience that mirrors the work done in any professional, modern mastering facility. The room is equipped with high-resolution surround sound stereo monitoring to support the mastering and critical listening curriculum and related activities. The suite is primarily used by music production and engineering (MP&E) students taking Advanced Digital Mastering (MTEC-420) and Critical Listening (MP-214).

The mastering suite is one of several music technology facilities at 160 Massachusetts Avenue designed for Berklee by the Walters-Storyk Design Group, renowned for its work throughout the world on spaces for enterprises such as HBO Productions, IMAX, MTV Latin America, SONY Corporation, and Viacom New Media.
