Phonathon
The Student Phonathon program, led by Berklee students, brings our community of alumni, parents, and friends together around a common goal: helping students succeed by raising funds to support the greatest needs on campus.
Students make outgoing calls to alumni, parents, and friends in the evenings during the fall and spring semesters. They share updates about new programs and opportunities at Berklee, ask for advice, and share ways for members of our community to stay connected to the college.
Phonathon provides students with real-world, professional experience that strengthens their entrepreneurial skills and introduces them to the world of philanthropy and the impact our donors make on campus.
Don't miss our call: Berklee students will be calling from 617-747-6354. If you get a call from that number, please pick up; our students would love to say hello. You may also make a gift to support the Berklee Fund and opt to receive a thank-you call from a student instead.
For more information about the Student Phonathon program, please contact Jean Connaughton, director of Annual Giving, at jconnaughton1@berklee.edu.

Corporate and Foundation Support
Berklee’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) cultivates and maintains relationships with grant-making organizations that have funding interests aligned with our mission, vision, and goals. CFR works with academic leadership on proposal submissions and stewardship for awarded grants.
Foundations, corporations, and government agencies support a wide range of College and Conservatory initiatives and programs, including:
-
scholarships for students;
-
education outreach initiatives, such as Berklee City Music, a tuition-free music education program that engages over 2,000 underserved students locally and more than 55,000 students nationally through partnerships with school districts in New York City, Los Angeles, and other cities across the country;
-
funded fellowships, through the Berklee Career Center, which close opportunity gaps for high-need students by offsetting travel, housing, and other costs so they can participate in high-quality internships in the music industry;
-
Berklee Institutes, such as the Institute for Jazz and Gender Justice, Music and Health Institute, and Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship, which aim to advance, coordinate, and catalyze innovation and affect change across the college and in the wider community;
-
public performances by Berklee students, faculty, and visiting artists at the Berklee Performance Center, Cafe 939, and other performance venues on campus that enrich the cultural life of Boston; and
-
capital projects that improve Berklee's physical campus.
The CFR office welcomes inquiries and contact from foundations and corporations as well as suggestions from faculty, alumni and friends on potential partnership opportunities. For inquiries, please contact Danielle Parillo, senior director of corporate and foundation relations, at dparillo@berklee.edu.
