Michelle Sterling is a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction, and has been awarded writing fellowships at the Institute for Advanced Study at Central European University, Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Norman Mailer Center, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Banff Centre for the Arts. Her writing has been published in The Baffler, VICE, Bellevue Literary Review, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Joyland, and translated into four languages.
