Vocalist Kirstie Wheeler has developed elementary and secondary curricula for choral and general music in several districts. Serving as a team leader, Wheeler oversaw the implementation of a middle school curriculum, including its assessments and scheduling. She is a sought-after choral and general music clinician in Massachusetts. Receiving several grant proposals, Wheeler brings technology, specialized music programming, and special education music programming to schools that are unable to provide these services.
As a performer, she sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, chorus to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops. Wheeler is a certified McClosky Voice Technician, using her knowledge of vocal physiology and pedagogy to prepare students for a lifetime of healthy singing.
“I would like students to come away with an appreciation for the whole child, being eager to seek opportunities and new ideas to engage the learner.”
