Experience a week in the life of a Berklee guitar student in this musically diverse program. Designed to provide you with inspiring performance opportunities and technical training, this program will place you in ensembles with guitarists of similar experience, stylistic interest, and ability. Your faculty comprises 35 internationally recognized players from Berklee's Guitar Department who are experts in a diverse range of styles.

Program Director David Newsam
David Newsam has been teaching at Berklee College of Music since 1989 as a member of the Guitar and Professional Music departments. He has performed in concerts and clinics with many noted musicians, among them guitarists Jim Hall, Bucky Pizzarelli, Gene Bertoncini, Peter Bernstein, and Howard Alden; pianists Dave McKenna and James Williams; drummers Ed Shaugnessy, Louis Bellson, Bob Moses, and Alan Dawson; and jazz legends Clark Terry, Phil Wilson, Joe Williams, and Milt Jackson.
Assistant Program Director Colin Sapp
Colin Sapp is a guitarist, composer, and producer with over 150 recording credits. He has most notably performed with the Backstreet Boys, Ally Brooke, Kurt Elling, Rakesh Chaurasia, Billy Gilman, and James Wolpert from NBC’s The Voice.
