Outside of her work as an assistant professor and practicum supervisor at Berklee, Adrienne Flight serves on the advisory board of the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs. She is also a lecturer at Northeastern University. Flight is the music therapy coordinator at Brookline Music School, where she sees music therapy clients in individual and group settings, and has held various roles with the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association. She currently serves as president of the association.

Flight holds a Bachelor of Music in music therapy from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Master of Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, and is a Ph.D. student at Lesley University. She has been a board certified music therapist since 2007 and has training in neurologic music therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and therapeutic crisis intervention. Flight has worked with a variety of clinical populations, including families who are new to the United States; children who have a variety of developmental, emotional, and physical needs; adults who have mental health and substance dependence needs; war veterans; and adults with dementia.
