Taylor Deneen is a singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her signature sound comes from a variety of genres, including R&B, pop, gospel, and jazz. Some of her influences are Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and D’Angelo. She began singing at the age of 6 and started composing music shortly afterward. At just 21 years old, Deneen has performed for the likes of Missy Elliott, Chaka Khan, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone, to name just a few. She also studied under the direction of musical director Rob Lewis, known for his work with Christina Aguilera and Toni Braxton. Deneen is a full scholarship recipient and a winner of the Berklee Voice Department’s Outstanding Performer Award.
This event is part of the Sunset Concerts at Symphony Park series, a partnership including Berklee, Fenway Civic Association, Friends of Symphony Park, and the City of Boston.
