Comparative Vocal Pedagogy

In this course, students will examine the history and development of vocal pedagogy. Through both an experiential approach and a detailed analysis of leading contemporary vocal pedagogies such as Somatic Voicework/The LoVetri Method, Estill Voice Training, Speech Level Singing, and Complete Vocal Technique, students will explore the models and methods that form the various perspectives on effective vocal training.
