“For me it’s all about helping my students develop as performers regardless of the style. I try to focus on the specific needs of my students and use a systematic approach supported by organization, technology tools and lots of listening. My background includes studying with master teachers who inspired me with techniques to develop a great sound, solid reading ability and a strong, theoretical foundation for improvisation. My goal is to impart those skills to my students so they will be confident and successful in any performance situation.”
