The Gathering with Patrice Rushen (Virtual Event)
Please see the events listing for upcoming events.
Four-time Grammy-nominated composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and educator Patrice Rushen gravitated to fusion, jazz, R&B, and pop after being trained as a classical pianist. Rushen earned an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music in 2005. She is the first female director of many of the industry’s top award shows, including the Grammy Awards, Emmy Awards, and many more. Rushen continues to advise and mentor music students at Berklee and at the University of Southern California.
The Gathering is an ongoing series presented by the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice. Events are open to the greater Berklee community and public, and will feature performances, guest lectures, workshops, and discussions with gender equity as a guiding principle.
You must RSVP to join this event.
