Advanced Screen Scoring for Composers

Description

This course is intended for non-film scoring majors to extend their knowledge of working as a composer for visual and linear media. Continued analysis of specific dramatic situations will be followed by application of scoring techniques and in-class critique of student compositions. Business and career topics will prepare the student for work in the industry.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have extended their experiences in many conceptual, technical, business, musical, and psychological aspects of the screen scoring profession.
