Course Number
DANS-111
Description

The salsa topics course is for all students who have little to no salsa dance experience. Basic salsa dance technique is taught from a social-cultural perspective. Students practice class combinations as well as create their own sequences with salsa dance vocabulary. A class trip to a Boston-area salsa club will be scheduled for students to engage in a practicum where coursework can be applied in its social context.
