Canada Scholars / Slaight Family Scholarship
The Slaight Family Scholarship is a full scholarship opportunity awarded annually to one gifted Canadian musician accepted for the fall semester. The scholarship is intended to provide an opportunity for a talented Canadian musician with demonstrated financial need to experience the unique benefits of a Berklee College of Music education. The award covers the cost of tuition, room and board, and a laptop, and is renewable over four years of study.
All candidates for the Slaight Family Scholarship must first participate in a live audition at one of the college's many audition sites throughout Canada or in Boston. Candidates who qualify based on their audition and interview will be notified that they have been nominated for the Slaight Family Scholarship. Then qualified candidates will be asked to complete an application for need-based financial aid to complete the application process. Final selection of the Slaight Family Scholarship will be announced in June each year.
