In Their Own Words

"My teaching philosophy is centered on developing a language learning environment that addresses the strengths, diverse learning styles, and unique needs of my students. From my extensive travels abroad and my time spent teaching English as a foreign language in Andorra and China, I have learned the significance of adapting and accepting culturally diverse communities. This trait I hope to instill in my students by fostering cultural awareness and acknowledging ethnic diversity in the classroom."

"Here at Berklee, a diverse classroom environment is inevitable. In my freshmen seminar courses on contemporary issues, students represent more than 10 countries. In these courses, I encourage students to work with their peers to complete group projects and assignments so that they are introduced to various cultures and traditions quite different from their own."
